The ones that do have prices, those prices seem quite high for the time and around the price of those cars when new, did they keep their value that well back then?
Interesting on those V8 conversions being so early, I wonder how many are still around. And how many got such a conversion back then? And was the conversion before or after the Supercar scare.

They were pretty common even in the late 80's and 90's. I looked at a totally original, low kM red LJ GTR about 1986/7-ish that had been converted with a 308 and M21 from a crashed VH GroupIII. Car was immaculate. It was about $5000 from memory. The reason I didn't buy it was I didn't like sitting like a contortionist with the LJ's offset pedals and steering column. I bought an FJ40 'cruiser with a 327 in it instead.

Any ideas which car this is? Monaro sedan, with Repco engine and Lucas fuel injection. 1974? (It sounds like Ramsay's City State Kingswood, though I guess it's not).

It'll be either the HK or the Shell Yellow HT.

Probably the HT before Tom Jesperson bought it. However, he describes it as a sedan, that could be converted to 73 touring regs. That's what's thrown me with it. The sports sedan regs were introduced in 73 alongside Group C from memory.

One bloke has his address in the ad. Wouldn't be doing that these days.
The factory lightweight would be Barry Setons??
There is also an XU1 with triple cams and a solid head.

The lightweight A9X Hatch would be one of the LE-Mans one's you would think.

The ad for the L34 still under warrantee was from April 1976. Must have been a Fortron, or something similar.
And somebody must know the L34 with the TV installed!!!

From what I've read Norm's HK was sold to Peter Briggs over here late 69Probably the HT before Tom Jesperson bought it. However, he describes it as a sedan, that could be converted to 73 touring regs. That's what's thrown me with it. The sports sedan regs were introduced in 73 alongside Group C from memory.
Briggs had financial problems in 72ish, the HK was then stripped, parts sold
& shell left in a paddock.
This is said to be the Beechey/Briggs HK
