Might have to ring ACT RTA and ask how they work out there Tare weight as in getting the car on the scales or going off there book info etc

Ok Mystery solved, ACT RTA back in the day used 900 TARE weight on all the Torana's, so my GTR weight is underweighted by ACT RTA, so anyone else in future from ACT comes across this problem with there Torana, this is why, they used the 900 Tare weight as middle ground.

Al,what,s with the weight thing their was no light bodies and thinner glass. If you are referring to the 1972 HDT cars at bathurst they were the old silver cars painted in the new colours built 1/72.

Anthony as my GTR was a GMH owned car and the TARE weight was only 900 TARE weight, I thought well it is only 900 TARE what is going on, but worked it out now thanks to the info I got to day from a ACT RTA approved inspection station
