Hi Dave

Very interesting build, I see you have put a lot of thought and planing into it.

If the way you're gone about this build thread is anything to go by, then I can't wait to see what you do with your car.

All the best with the build

Victor

Thank-you very much Victor,

I like the plan before we do bit too, and this is the real coy.

Will be an interesting voyage, and learning curve for the allowing bits, but will try our best to keep within the structure case.

has been too cold and wet for painting the Bonnet and Boot, but meanwhile, an A9X scoop may pop in.

Wow Tony,

That is a very Cool Gangster Torana, amazing work how the front door locks onto the rear door hey.

so now I have to see if a 2 door door fits using a 4 door rear door, hmm, one gets tape out.

Something different for ya Dave.

Thank-you Mark for your kind words,

I just have to get the updates rolling, as I am starting on the simple little bits first Mate.

I wish you well on the journey and look forward to seeing your updates.

.

Dave...

The way ide go about it is

Unpick the replacement guard bits.. sandbalst/por 15... Do the inner first usually has the least rust,, sandblast por 15, then spot/plug weld the outer back on..I wouldnt be doing as one bit.. Too hard and wont get right.. Been there done that BOTH ways..

Cool project Dave. I especially like the side pipe idea.. wouldn't have thought of it but from the mock-up picture you've done it really suits the look of the LC.

Had a go at the wheel arches yet?

Hello Jack,

Thank-you for the kind jester Jack Mate.

Troy helped with putting all the pieces of the Cool RAT picture together for me,

and I am yet to weld in the rear arches.

As soon as something happens, an update will be imminent.

Oh, and does this mean, I am off the Hook now, and can continue as normal.  :furious:

Had a go at the wheel arches yet?
