If my memory serves me correct, they were orignally off Jack Brabhams Cooper Climax F1 engine..then other period stuff..(original Repco Brabham motor I think before they went to fuel injection) Highly sought after. I would think of Chris' offer as they would be back on a car that originally had them.

wals186s,

While its possible to get caught up in the hype regarding the value of the webers you have, remember that they are only worth what someone is willing to pay, or you are willing to accept. As everyone has already told you these are a very rare item, and to have 4 in what appears to be really good condition is nothing short of astounding.

They're a highly sought after item, not only here in Australia but overseas, especially Europe, where they were used on 50's-60's Formula Cars such as Ferrari's, Maserati's, Cooper's etc. Another option to consider if you ever plan to sell them.

Hi, could these be off BOB JANES XU1 as one person has told me that this car is missing its original set of 58mm carbs. Does anybody know who owns this car now and how do you contact the owner?

Cheers

Steve
