If there still retaining that same box with the std models i wouldnt touch it.
The car has had so many problems id bore you all with the list.
Ive spoken to people in passing who own the same model and there experiencing the same problems.
There's no way the so called new 175kw is better than the previous models, holden gave me a vt loaner with 219000k on it and it left mine for dead. Either they changed the gearing to improve economy or its not putting out 175kw like they claim.
I owned a vx 5.7 sed 6spd new (1/2001) it was fantastic all round.
Ive always owned holdens but there's nothing really outstanding about this new car to make it stand out from others.

I knew they were going to have vents/flutes as I saw a HSV VE mule last friday with tape all down the side.

Drive.com.au
HSV's eagerly awaited E-Series performance sedan has broken cover a full week ahead of its official launch because of a silly mix-up in embargo dates.
Pictures of a white E-Series sedan, most likely a Clubsport, were apparently published by a government department mistakenly advised by HSV that the vehicle's official launch was yesterday, Wednesday August 16. The launch was actually put back a week until Monday 21 August, but it seems this small detail never got to the department in question.
These pictures, picked up by enthusiast sites like LS1.com.au, are only the second time Australia has seen scoop images of HSV's E-Series

hahahaha ive had the car described to me, and it sounds awesome!!
Apparently the Wheels have a different stud pattern to the Commodore, so wheels cant be swapped etc..
Umm what else did he say...
The GTS has a bonnet bulge that will put the Ford to shame!
Massive Front Grill (mouth) looks like a Tough Audi or Aston Martin...
Optional 20's
Cant think atm wat else i was told
But from wat i have been told... I JUST WANT ONE

Some of the features look more at home in NFS Underground (like the taillights in the white clubbie) and I'm not too sure whether I'm a fan of the pumped guards/flares.
Tell me the pic of that silver calais is not just the front of a BA glued to a holden badge? Perhaps they changed the stud pattern to a Ford pattern, just to keep up the trend of borrowing stuff from Ford, lol
Cheers,

Its funny you say that with the stud pattern actually, as they have changed it.Perhaps they changed the stud pattern to a Ford pattern, just to keep up the trend of borrowing stuff from Ford, lol
Cheers,
Also the reason I think the HSV's have a different stud pattern to the normal VEs might be so the HSV's can use the regular commodore stud pattern so they can put on rims from previous HSV models. I say that as the rims on that white one look look clubby r8 rims.
