Hey guys, pre meet spot will be at the Melbourne Zoo carpark at 8am. From there, leave probably around 8:30 will be cruise down the eastern freeway to Bayswater. It's about 45mins away or so.

I dont think i'll be able to make it that early either, would have to be leaving here at 7.15 and my boys aren't even awake at that time. I'll trek down to Bayswater on my own via the Monash and meet everyone there.

Once again this was a great day. Weather couldn't have been better and it was full of awsome cars.
I couldn't believe how much they made it a great family day!

Would have been good to meet a few forum members but having our one year old with us made for a different day than I am used to at car shows.

I had my 2 year old and 8 month old there too, it definately makes it harder, but it is better to have all of the family involved.
No pity taken on your car, it definately stands out, it was one of the only categories I heard presented (probably cause my car was in LH/LX modified too).

Cool shots, good to see the Yankee stuff too. We had a grumpy 4 year old and hyper-active 2 year old in tow today, so it was another hectic attempt at a day out! LOL. Still good to get the Torana out though for a cruise with all the others.
Noticed lots of nice cars out cruising on the way home too.
We'll done to all involved today, the effort shows.

Darren I had a good look at your car. Very nice. It was actually the colour my wife and I spoke about, it really sets it off.

Thanks Daz. When I look around at the other cars I guess mine has a few more modifications than others and that may be what stands out. It's not a tribute to any particular model, has the LS engine, 6 speed box, no door handles and rear coil overs. Maybe more than meets the eye.
It just surprises me with so many great cars and I really went for the fun of the day, as I do to all shows. I don't really rate mine as I "show" car..
I guess it was best modified, not best overall!
It was very nice for it to be acknowledged though, I am wrapped!
