Got sent this the other day i had seen the breakaway ad before but not the one with Judith Durham singing.
Thought those who dont have may want to see it or have it here it is Film Clip

I was worried there for a moment before I saw the Toranas, thought the next thing would be Datto linking his Barry Manilow vids.. :-)

I was thinking, 'why the hell would anyone post something on Judith Durham on a Torana site for', but then the video is self explanatory. And a cool vid it is too. Love it.

My mail was they gave her one of the first GTRs as payment for the Ad..Bryan Thompson got the very first one as his race car and put the V8 in it to run against Moffat, Beechey, Jane etc..

I have one of those DVD's with about 50 holden ads on it :huh: and have never seen Judith doing the Breakaway bit good find thank you.

PS: LC69GTR Thanks for the holden comparison too, I was on top of the mountain that day and have not seen that footage before I coud not be happier :D

I also have the dvd you are talking about and yes its not on there yet but now i have it i may put it onto my copy there maybe more to come sooner or later as i have all these one's to ad once i get them converted

When you get around converting all that to CD's I wouldn't mind buying a copy of the HZ Kingswood SL film for my dads wagon he's had since nearly new!

Judith's car was a Kashmir White LC GTR with a black vinyl roof, a friend of mine who lives in QLD owns it.

I thought it was turned into a sports sedan in the early 70's and was raced by Brian Potts?
