I have a couple of UC's and LX's.

Have a variation of this on my Crewman ute number plate: UCLX 05.

As in, did you see LX 05 back in the day.

Would like to change my user name on here to UCLX 05, but don't know how.

Cheers,

Daryl.

Easy peasy, my name is Carmelo, so naturally that's shortened to Mello or Mel, and I'm born in 1992.

Mort, is short for Morton.

Morton is an Aboriginal character from King Billy Coke Bottle.

Typical stereo type of an Aboriginal is a 'Black Fella',  a scruffy person who wears a singlet and shorts and gets around bare foot. No offence to any Aboriginals.

When i was younger (30+ yrs ago) i resembled Morton only i'm a 'White Fella' (Pom actually) and the name stuck.

When i started working in the mine 24yrs ago people shortened it to Mort and that's what it's been since.

Too this day i still would prefer to walk everywhere bare foot, only wearing foot ware when i have to, work, social events and when the Minister for War and Peace sez i gotta.

Dont have much video really just some incar bits from a track day at Collie! That was a great day even if i did totally destroy the front pads!

Will try to put it up soon.

Yeah you need full attention when getting up it! :3gears: :spoton:  :3gears: :spoton:  :3gears: :P

Been down the strip abit! Broke lots

Best time was 11.59 @ 123mph. Shit 60'!  But that was with the R33 5 speed.

Now i got a Tremec TKO  & the different first gear ratio has amplified the issue a have coming off the launch limiter so its gone backwards

Havent done anything with it for over a year.

Here is the link to my photobucket library with some of my pics!

Just a bit of info on my post above.

My car (Max's SS) was a prize in a competition through Street Machine magazine approximately 10 years ago.

i did not win the car but purchased it about 12 months after it was given away.

I think most of us who were kids in the 80's and 90's know monkey magic for the same reason we all know about The Goodies, Inspector Gadget, and Peter Russel Clark.

There were only 3 channels, in Perth anyway, and those shows were all on channel 2 when the news was on 7 and 9 lol
