only just seen this,
sorry to hear, my condolences to the Thompson clan & friends.
RIP Neil.
 

Not 100% sure about the colonoscopy I hear the procedure itself can cause complications

^^ not really what I wanted to read as I'm booked for my 1st tomorrow plus a Gastro as well,
dont know if I need the Pico-Prep....shittn meself already.

Best of luck with that, just ignore it, there's always someone online nay saying medical procedures; thankfully the majority say it's better to have it done and the risks are minor.

I have also had a Colonoscopy a couple of years back, no dramas really and i had mine without Anaesthetic, a bit uncomfortable but only lasts a few minutes.....

RIP Neil .

Had  the procedure recently .Most uncomfortable part was the preparation .When the crap they give you is the same colour coming out as what goes in you are ready for testing .Asked them about the procedure .One throat inspection of the gut and the other up the date .Said that they would trim off any lesions while they are there .Told them the bag at the back end was not a lesion .Asked them to do the throat first then my date (just in case I was left with a  crappy taste in my mouth) .All was good under the general anesthetic .Don't know what the wink was about when I saw the Doctor though .

All seriously though .It has got to be done .

A good result .

For sure. The difference between an anal thermometer and an oral thermometer is the taste.
