G'day I'm installing weatherstrips at the moment on my coupe. Could somebody out there please tell me if it's chrome side up on the inner felts so that when you look along the top of the door you can see the chrome/stainless strip?I have the rare spares ones that come with the clips already on the strip but they can be removed and put up the other way? I have checked previous posts but no one seems to have touched on this. Really appreciate it. Ta

Whichever way you want I suppose. I have my inner door belt weather strips (not Rares) installed with the stainless bead visible.

Genuine original strips didn't have a chrome or stainless edge.

I'm trying to fit mine at the moment, they're really giving me the shites. I've glued the outer on but this inner clip system has got me beat. I'm using the tool (flat bar with bent up end) but clips don't won't to play the game.

I might try opening up the clips a bit before I resort to glue.
