Hi, wondering if someone can help me with building my diff, I don't know where the spacers go, do they go on the outer edges of the housing, just inside the flange? An help would be great, thanks, Adam.

Hi Adam.

If you're referring to the spacer rings on the axle, they fit in between the retainer plate & the axle seal. They are to make up for the extra thickness of the caliper bracket. If you leave them out, you will have too much axle end float, causing both the seal & bearing to fail.

You need the bearings cracked off, seal placed on axle, new bearing pressed on.
Fills extra space in caliper hanger.

See the Tech Article on rear discs.
