To be honest I am not sure why anyone would be surprised that an xu1 might do low 15s- thats pretty good for a 45 year old car. In saying that, there is also plenty who go much quicker than that with the right mods... although to be honest, if outright power and speed was the aim we wouldnt persist with 202s, lets face it.
I love the 202s though, and I continue to persist, even though it would be oh so easy to throw in a more modern turbo 6 and rip up fantastic times, there would be no reward in that. Anyone can turn a boost controller up and run E85 to compensate poor setup, and a poor volumetric efficiency engine in order to pull great times
hey thats me your taking about mate lol but lets face it, no matter how good your setup, there is no way your going to run 98 octane unleaded and 35psi of boost!!!!!
As for flat changing the car, nah. I have never tried it to be honest as i don't want to miss a gear and buzz the motor. It might have an 8500rpm rev limit but it doesnt stop the motor from spinning further.

Us 202 boys could certainly do that.... With like 2:1 compressoin.

every tenth quicker at the 60 foot is 2 tenths quicker at the finish line.

Just 2 things that I have noted,
When shifting your car nose dives quite noticeably- so you are likely losing forward momentum here. By improving shift speed and keeping the power on I would say you will find a few tenths there.
Just watched the video and agree the nose drops at the gear change. The nose rises and the arse appears to drop when the power comes back on.
