if anyone wants to know for engineering purposes the lx sedan is 1200kg and the hatch is 1220kg. that is straight from the rta tech advice line.doesnt matter what weight you say your car is,if its and lh-x its one of the above according to them.

so....maximum cubes

1220x0.294=358.68.

damn :huh:

My LX sedan is fitted with a Chev V8, TH350, 9" rear. CRS chassis kit, droptank (holding approx 60 litres), HQ brakes, full stereo, and weighed in at 1400kg's with no driver.

WA rego goes on the weight of the sedan version with maximum options
This goes for all vehicles...... so if you have a ute they still base it on a sedan
WA rules allow up to 385 cubes in a Torry I thought

Unfortunately they go off the kerb weight that they have info on in NSW.

Like you said a LH-X with cast iron V8 weighs "1200kg" but mine with aluminium engine weighs 1300kg and theres no bog , no stereo, no cage, no big Kg bitters in my car.

Both my rego labels state 1150 kg. that is on a sedan and a hatch so the Rta contradict themselves who would have thought !!
