Hey guys I'm measuring up to find some wheels that will actually fit correctly.
I'm presuming the best way to do it is to put a straight edge (such as a level) on the hub that slides over the stub axle and measure off the level to the closest point of contact of suspension components (in this case upper control arm) and take off 10mm. Then I was thinking of doing the opposite to the guard lip and taking off 10mm. That way I can find a rim width that will fit inside those two combined measurements, and the 10mm clearance (plus some extra for good measure) will allow for the tyre wall. Once I got the rim width figured out I can divide the width by two and subtract that from the backspace I have just worked out to get the needed offset. Then I can go wheel shopping. Does that sound like a good method? Any problems? Is 10mm enough clearance for a front wheel? I'm presuming the tyre width I choose to run will determine weather or not I will get scrubbing, considering the rim width will be within reasonable standards..

These parts are important too aswell as the suspension clearance issues
