I know of a stock L.H. 4.2 SL in Collie that still wears a single tailpipe. You can't even hear it as it drives past.
Do SS 4.2 originally have single or twin exhaust pipes?

i hope i can still call you mate!
after taking every chance (can,t spell oppertunity) to give you heaps about
the much loved L34 and the tie down / tow hooks
planning a trip down your way very shortly
would be good to catch up!

The fella that owned it died a couple of years ago and I haven't seen it around since. For a while I thought it was the one that DANWA has, but it's not. I do know the bloke's son, so if I ever see him I will definitely be asking about it.
You can drop in anytime Dave. You can even bring the A9X if you like as I have enough land to hide it which will save me the embarrassment of having a hairdresser's car in my driveway. (Marlborough Country down here mate

The 76 sl 4.2 Persian sands hatch that I purchased off the original owner had dual 2" to the mufflers then twin 1 &5/8 tailpipes. All original gear still. Was one of the first few mods it got + a set of 13 x7 hotwires
