G'day All

As you lot probably know, I have been selling some stuff both on the forum and on ebay to get wee beastie's motor reco'd.

It never ceases to amaze me what item gets the most attention.
Usually anything that has to do with Torana especially LC /LJ normally attracts quite a few hits and also has a good number of "watchers" keeping an eye on it.

I have an accelerator pedal in good nick for an lc/lj and it has only 4 watchers and up to date only 39 visits. ie

But oddly enough I also have an antique mantel clock that doesn't even work that has 11 watchers and has had 105 hits. ie

I can't work that one out and it looks like my starting price may have been a bit low. and also shows my lack of knowledge on antique stuff.

Oh well, that's the nature of ebay.

Regards ........... Barry

I don't think you can have too low a starting price, I start all my auctions at $10, and they sell for what people will pay for them, I am usually pleasantly surprised at the final sale figure.

Don't panic, you will get what its worth, sometimes more !!!

G'day Struggler

I have been pleasantly surprised by some of my items on ebay :spoton:

The mantle clock now has 15 watchers and has had 175 hits were the LC/LJ pedal has only had 66 hits and has 7 watchers.

I actually think that it may only make about $35 and although these old clocks don't take much to fix, it still doesn't work. Most of the time the problem is with dust and lack of use and needs freeing up.

Regards ....................... Barry
