Steering Wheel repairs?

Does any body know who properly repairs steering wheels nowadays?

There used to be a guy years ago who could reweld a GTS/SLR steering wheel and you could even get the thing rimmed with wood if you so desired!

My genuine wheel looks like its been through the wars and the final blow came last year when I had to brake suddenly and the top part of the wheel went towards the dash and then went limp, literally!

P.S. I hate the damn oval standard type steering wheel!

You could try fixing it yourself MY. I did it on mine and the results were quite good. I just carefully cut the cover off welded it and replaced the cover using Sikoflex and lots of cable ties. Here is the website if you want to have a look. Jimjets Junk
