For this year I am currently 2nd in Class and 13th Outright.
Here are the points as they currently stand with 2 rounds remaining.
Points are...
1 point for pole.
1st 45
2nd 40
3rd 37
4th 35
and 2 less points for each remaining position down to 1 point.... etc
Race 1 and 3 for Outright, Race 2 for Class.

A good day out, and as always great racing, with both Glenn in the Sports Sedans, and Pete in the Improved Production over 3.0L sedans. Both cars not finishing the last race due to technical difficulties, but still very entertaining.

Not Pete, but an AF2 racer (Milsanne LMP 25??), one of my fave cars on the day, besides the Calibra Sports Sedan (no pics of that one sorry).



Pete's car is one cranky Torrie. Jumps on the front suspension at idle!!!

I went into the weekend hoping to improve my times and for a decent finish position.... ha ha...well I achieved one of them. My previous best lap of WP was a 1.12.2. I Qualified with 3 laps in the 1.11s with a best of 1.11.6. and 16th so I was happy about that. The track and day was very cold and my car suffered from bad under steer. Race one was good, I diced with an RX7 for 4 laps before I was able to finally pull away from him and finish 12th with a best lap of 1.12.2.

Sunday was much warmer and the car felt much better.

Race 2 ... I got my usual demon start and was contesting position 8 going up the hill on lap 1. I allowed a corolla a little room which then left my wide open for a V8 VH Commo going down the hill toward the fish hook. Well next thing I know he cuts infront of me and we made contact (RHF guard flare and front bumper) which sent me flying off into the infield. I managed to catch the big slide and then rejoined the track after the fish hook but now almost in last place directly behind Hogg in his LJ Torana. So for the next few laps I was dicing with him (I had 2 minor offs) but I finally managed to hold him off and finished 12th with a best lap of 1.10.8 (twice). I did these laps chasing Hogg trying to pass him ! So maybe I should get punted off more often . Race three I got an ok start but on lap 4 my gearbox made a funny noise under full power down the straight so I retired from the race....3rd gear in the box is goooooonnnnnneeee.

Sadly this also puts me out of the Muscle car masters as I wont be able to fix the car before then and may also have to misss the last round as well.
