The 6 & V8 wiring is the same except for the 2 extra spark plug wires. GMH didn't issue a separate diagram for the V8.

You are correct about the number referring to the wire gauge, although I don't believe that GMH did this for the LH diagram.

You say they didn't issue seperate diagram for V8. My diagram says to refer to sheet 12zz-2 for 4 and 8 cylinder engine wiring, so maybe just an extra page showing only whats different. Do you have an idea what this 12zz-2 sheet is.

What are you needing to know though? Everything you need is on that diagram and a U21 diagram is also available here as well.

Good morning Hanra I have just realised that the 12ZZ-2 reference for 4 and 8 cyl engine wiring is also the reference for U21 Instrument, so is there only one page (12zz-2) being the wiring diagram for the U21 upgrade for both 4 and 8 cylinder, or is that a typo error and U21 should be a -1?

Guys from my research it appears that 3mm seems to be the smallest auto wire gauge to buy in 10mtr lengths. The manual shows most wiring ranging from 12-18gauge, which only 2.052mm down to 1.024mm, so should I just use 3mm for wiring between 12 and 18Gauge?

Strip some of your original wire back. Take same wire into Autobarn. Compare with the rolls of Narva wire. Buy that one.

Thanks Hanra, I did that for some small repairs, but I have decided to replace entire looms so I thought I should make the effort to get the gauges and colours correct, I can buy from the states, but as I mentioned in all of the large auto wiring mobs I have contacted in Australia has 3mm as a minimum.
