Could anyone tell me if the engine bay, air filter cover & the steel fan shroud on an LH SLR 5000 were all originally in tuxedo black with a gloss finish?
Or is there a specific black finish?

if i am remembering correctly.........it would be a satin finish .straight of the gun ,the paint code numbers for tuxedo are a mystery.and it might really just be gmh black for your engine bay.

use midnight black straight off the gun, you may need a little flattening base.
