Update time as I have been slack at doing it. Following from above Phenlum top has been welded back in. Did a trip down to Gatton and picked up a donor UC for chassis rails thanks to Matt (orangeSS) on here. Took measurements from this shell as well as using a digital spirit level to help set up mine before pulling apart. Also got some rust cuts from the boot to fix some in my back. Cleaned and KBS treated the rails and some minor repairs. No real photos of this. Fitted the rails, a very time consuming job. Used axle stands milk crates bits of wood to get them into position. Tech screw measured again for about the thousand time before tack welding into place and measuring again. Did cheat a bit and use aluminium angle with holes drilled at the right centres to help align back and front. Next was the inner guards. They were a mission by them selves. As I had no replacement LX ones I used UC back inners as my hinges were rusted but the donor was good, LX front section to rad support reused from my old ones and LX top section to suit guards so both inners are 3 pieces to make one. Again no real pics of this. Then dummy fit front panels to check alignment. Have started stripping front guards, no rust which is great. Down side a few extra holes from flare fitting . The guards have about 3mm of bog all over them but it does make for easy stripping.

Been plodding along slowly. I have replaced both lower rear quater sections. Rust was in the inner and outer sections as well as rear of inner guard.

The car has had flares fitted in the past, the guards rolled but still use to scrub so got excited today and clearanced some more.

Should do more regular updates, spare wheel well has been replaced as well as small boot floor sections. Rear chassis rail rust has been done under beaver panel. Beaver still needs to be done.

The upper hatch area between the hinge mounts had been repaired before and very well done. No pics sorry. Only had a small bit to repair outside hinge.

The C pillars had the usual rust. The passenger side had a dodger repair and seam welded up. Driver side had just been bogged over. I wanted the seam there still to look original.
