Hi guys, as many know lc gtr choke plugs are near on impossible to find, does anyone know of somebody who has done it yet, well im not waiting any longer, im getting it done, i have pics and im prepared to have it made off the pics, but id rather borrow a plug to have them made right first time around, i will make as many as people want for a small fee to recover costs of making them. Please if somebody can help id be happy to pay handsome deposit to measure yours up or you can measure it up for me if you are good with a vernier. Let me know if anyone can help cheers Matt

I don't know how many of them are still laying around, but LC 4-cyl Torana Deluxes fitted with the 1600 OHC engine & Trimatic have automatic choke & they have a blanking plug in the choke hole. You never know your luck.

Thinkin I may pop mine out and run the verniers over it.....however...not keen to bugger it in the process.
Is is a simple ""pop""..to get it out? or a twist and pike ?

You don't really need to take it out, I can guess the thickness by measuring dashes I steady have, I assume they sit flush in the dash, I need the order all diameter but again I should be able to work that out, need the thickness of the rim, so measurement of inner ring and overall would be better than guessing everything, let me know

uhhhh..not sure what you mean....and it's glued back on now..., doh.....
p.s. .....the lip height is the 0.85mm pic...if thats what you mean..or do you want the thickness of the width?
Can I measure what you want, with it fitted?

Hi Col
Measure the diameter of the bowl in the front face, then deduct that from the 30.83mm OD of the disc and divide by 2 will give the width of the rim.
Appears from the pics the bowl depth is .85mm and the thickness of the disc is 3mm?

p.s ..I think the "bowl"" is ever so slightly convex, rather than concave, as well...thus, its the opposite of bowl..whatever that is....
Will measure tomorrow
