I might need you to pick up 2 rims at Currumbin on your way down...bit hard running around in the truck..will keep you posted.

Scored a wheel locally and getting one from Vic..no worries on that one.
Changed my mind and pulled the std rubber bushes from the radius rods to chassis and fitted Nolathane instead. Welding the front brackets and crossmember steel plate tomorrow..thats it..its done! Ramps for the truck are under way..will be finished end of next week. Need to get a good tool box for the back of the truck..2 more big tiedowns..some lap sash seat belts and a middle seat for the cabin. Look out !! Here we come!! :spoton:

Michael (Yellow) unfortunately has a family situation he needs to tend to and cant make it now...I am sure all will be OK..We will catch up later..10 days and counting.

Well he did drive the car a few times so its the least I can do to recognise that fact...Its going to be a sad but happy weekend...plenty of Brock cars there Chris Bowden says...I am just adding one more.

Just because I was bored and it was the only thing I hadnt changed I got new metal pipes fpr the front brakes from the calipers to the braided brakelines...and bled the front brakes...stickers for Brock and Irwin tomorrow,..pick up the ramps for the truck then a trial run putting the car on..then I will take pics for you guys..and I cant think of anything else...2 days and counting.

Hey Rory...
not forecasting that you will need it... but do you have a winch on the truck?
It's very hard to load a car onto a pan in the rain with wheels spinning on slippery steel ramps..
Just a thought ... cause i've been there once or twice!

We did think about it but with the 2 tool boxes up the front I would need an electric one on the floor..later...if I need to I will use the ratchet tiedown straps ...but I WONT need them will I Greg?..Lol! Thanks for the tip.
