Hi all
I just flicked through this topic and I went Bunnings because the old man has had oxy for 40 odd years and eventually got sick of being rorted.
Anyway a little tip as Bunnings don't tell you unless you ask.
Keep the receipt when you purchase the bottles. If you ever decide to cash them in you will need the receipt.
Being a tight wad I photocopied mine and laminated them.

I got a D size MIG gas from Bunnings last year and the young lady said not to worry if I lost my receipt as all the info about the bottle is stored in the computer against the bottles bar code.
I do have my receipt and the rental plan agreement T&C's stashed safely in my drawer.

Been on this plan for a while now. The entire operation works on the bottle bar code. You get it scanned, BOC does all the paperwork, you pay nothing at Point of sale once account established, everything arrives via mail or email from BOC after that.
