G'day jef,
When mixing parts from different brake systems it's really hard to diagnose problems. Could you elaborate on "don't feel good"?
Do you have a short, average or long pedal travel before anything happens?
When it does happen is the pedal firm or spongy?
Do the brakes apply progressively or do you get to a point where they come on hard all of a sudden?
Do you need to really stand on the pedal to get it to stop or are the brakes super sensitive?
Is there a noticeable difference between having booster vacuum and not?
What will probably be the best guide, assuming the front and rear calipers came from the same model car, is knowing what diameter the master cylinders were on those particular Nissans? If you can duplicate that diameter you should be fine design-wise, then you're just left with mechanical issues like pedal fulcrums, spongy flexible lines and bleeding.

Rory uses a different master cylinder though but the same size as the VN.
