I'm pretty up with what's available or looks good but I'd really appreciate it if people could post up or email/pm me photos of their red toranas so I can get an idea of what it actually looks like on the car. Even links to your photobuckets/webpages would be great. Things like blackouts and GTR offset stripes are also being tossed up.
I have been using photoshop but I don't think you get a true representation.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Jim

You're right. Sting red is what HSV call Holden's Red hot. It is looking like this is going to be the winner. I'm thinking this colour as a start and then making it deeper, or more cherry like as LH SL/R 5000 suggested.yeah the Holden 'Sting Red' or 'Red Hot' are both good, my LJ is painted one of them, not sure if they are technically the same colour just with different names though - will have to ask my mate whose a spraypainter at Suttons Holden Arncliffe.
Does anyone know it the new HSV's (VE) red colour is different again. A job for a spray painter.
Makka, why not red? It's garaged or out of the sun all day so I'm not worried about fade. It is more work maintenance wise but it's a price I'm prepared to pay (and have been paying)
The mazda range is quite good. I think Matt's hatch (Toranamat69) is that Mazda 3/6 red everyone is talking about.
Too many choices.

Solids are easier to fix those little scratches you WILL get.
