If i take out the opal box out of my LC and put in a aussie box do i have to change cross member and tailshaft?

Tailshaft is a different length. I think shorter for an Ausie.

The console suited to the Opel will not allow the extra movement required in the Ausie box. Need what is regarded as the LJ console.

Speedo cable will also have to be replaced as the connection to the box is different.

Cross member can be used. Gear Box Rubber mount I think can be used if it has the alternate mounting holes. Early Opel mounts were not wide enough to be mounted to the extension housing.

Not sure if i should take out the Opel and save it and just put in an aussie.
You have opened my eyes to a few issues i was not aware of.
