I am rebuilding an engine
I have 3 cylinder heads and am not sure which one I should use.
Engine is a 9/13 JL GTR being rebuilt as standard.
Not sure which one came off this engine originally.

Heads are

7429477
G126

7420109
E134

9937269
(pretty sure this is off a blue motor)

Any help would be appreciated.
John.

Hi Guys.

I think all of those heads are 'small chamber' heads. They are not correct for an LJ GTR 202. If you fit them, your comp ratio will be way too high for a stock streeter.

The 1st head is a std 161, the 2nd is std 149 & I think the last one is a late red (ADR27A) 173. I don't have that exact number recorded, but it is only a few digits away from a late red 202.

Dr Terry.

I had 1 of those heads, till i attacked it with the die grinder for something to do! they are a dime a dozen, so you shouldnt have any trouble finding 1. i might even have another at home

Thanks for all this info,
I will check the production date of the block and see if I can get a matching head.
