Did Holden make these all out of aluminium or did some models come out with chromed steel ones

some twats on FB saying that HJ and some early HX had these so called steel ones on the cars im calling biggest BS ever  

be awesome to prove them wrong 

Could they have been aftermarket ?

I’m not saying that it is impossible, just if Foolbook is the source it might as well be out of a kiddies book and has about as much credibility. If there was such a thing it may well have been a prototype set before they got bulk quantities quoted and made by whomever made them for GMH.

AFAIK all HQ to HZ headlight surrounds used in production were pressed from aluminium.
