Went to a party in Castlemaine at the weekend.
The Porche club was staying at the same hotel, so talked to a couple of the guy's and took some photo's.
These were all mid 50's cars and brilliant examples.
A couple of the the guy's were impressed with the Hatch, one was even working for GMH in the design department during the Torana years.
Here are a couple of the pic's.

This Rag top 55, Speedster is still L/H drive.

Possibly the best presented car was this one, beige leather int & imaculate paint job.

While i'm at it here are some of the Torana at Cairn Curran reservoir,
or whats left of it! it is missing a lot of water these days.

The signs behind the car are boating sign's?

This is a picture of the dam wall, the water doesn't even reach the wall anymore.

Fantastic photos!!! The hatch looks a million bucks as always, and WOW the condition of those early models are impressive! Some interesting looking machinery! Gotta love staying at a hotel and bumping into other car enthusiasts!

Yes, the finish on some of them was unbelievable, flawless.

The Torrie looked a little out of place amongst them, but were a welcoming bunch of people and appreciated another enthusiast, didn't matter what type of car.

All up their were about 10 Porsches, about the same finish on them all.

Wish i had taken more photo's

I think it may be a WIP lowering job; wasn't like that last time I saw that car.

There is a person/people in the back as well which may be accentuating that.

The back was full of luggage.
That's what makes it look worse than it normally does.

Its also not on level ground, doesn't help.

Need to get the standard original rear springs reset and the fronts dropped to make it look right, its in the planner.
