Hi

How do people have their fuel filler attached to the body right behind their number plate?

It seems mine is not held by anything anymore but in the past was held by a large lump of Silastic only.

Ideas with pictures would be awesome.

Cheers Phil

The factory filler neck is solidly attached to the tank and just floats in space at the cap end. I have a modified tank in the four door that is going to use a separate filler connected by short rubber hose, the plan is to add a closeout panel inside the cavity a small way (to allow space for the cap) and use a ute filler neck that has the flange with the screw holes in it to hold in place.
