Foose & Simmons wheels

I spoke to a guy at Simmons wheels about the FR series and he tells me that they no longer stamp/mark their rims which to my understanding means they do not meet AS 1638. Therefore engineer will not sign off.
Would love some feedback on any recent purchases of both Foose and Simmons.
Cheers

Interesting, I spoke to my engineer about Simmons and other brands and he said they have to comply with a suitable standard to be road legal, I can't remember the standard but I think JWL was one and there were others. The 3 piece wheels could be supplied as complying but each wheel had to have paperwork to say it was assembled to the standard and have matching numbers or a way to identify it.
He did say that wheels had to have the standard marked on them and he took photos and recorded the details of the rims on my car
Although it was a while ago I think most imported wheels like American Racing etc were not legal here even thought many people used them. One of those technicalities most people don't care about.
I considered getting some wheels widened and this was also illegal even though many people get wheels widened and use them, according to the rules a full circumference weld was not allowed or something like that
Good luck with your search

Its nit just they break at welds they can crack spokes too.
Saw an advan rim crack just last week, granted this had seen a very hard life, high loading, still took us all by surprise.
I would post a pic but dont know how to get the file size small enough to do it.

I send large file size pictures to myself on Fakebook Messenger, then save to resize them, seems to work ok for me.

I post my large pics on Facebook but have them as my viewing only, so no one else sees the pics, unless I want them to.
Its in the preferences before you post.
I then save the shrunk image and delete the facebook post.
Then the pics are the right size for here.
You could also text the pic to your email if you have taken it on your phone.
That shrinks the file size as well.
Cheers
