Gday All...
Just after a bit of advice.
I want to give a 308 the once over and change all the gaskets.
Basically the rocker covers, sump,Manifolds, etc. I was told the best way to go would be to buy a complete gasket set instead of buying individual bits and pieces.
I have been quoted anywhere between $82 up to around $250 from various outlets.
Does anyone have any advice on which brand to go for or had any bad experiences with a particular brand, or is it a case of you get what you pay for ???
Im sure plenty of people on here have travelled this path !!!
Thanks in Advance

You will find the main difference is in the quality of the head gaskets.
If you don't want to change the head gaskets then pretty much any set will do.

Its tru... Fixing something that doesnt need fixing can lead to problems haha... unless its all done perfectly... (motor out of car for sump ect.)

Is it leaking oil everywhere?

complete kits about 69-79? for acl from suprcheap auto. Definatly cheaper then buying induvidual gaskets,

good luk

Thanks for the replys..!!!
I dont have to change the head gaskets which is good , but I am replacing the existing 6 with this 308 ,so I thought better to do all of the Gaskets while the motor is out, instead of worrying about it down the track. Prevention is better than cure !!
Oh well ,in my case it looks like the cheaper the better.
Cheers
