Installing HI -6

hey guys im now trying to hok up the hi 6 on the torri and i got it all sorted apart from the wires on the dizzy. its a 202 with the electronic dizzy and i can work out what the goes is with the three wires from the dzzy. there is a tan wire on its own and then the green wire that come out goes toa little plug thingy and another black wire comes from the plug thingy. so i thought tan might be positive so whst the go with the two negatives?? any help would be much appreciated gota get this wokring before i can pu the new engine in!

Hi Uglybob,

From memory, mine had one poitive lead, one negative lead to coil and one negative connector for the tacho. I'm not sure on the colours though.

What is the best V8 distributor to use with the HI6. Im going to buy a new 1 and dont know wether to get a VN VR/S or VT unit as they all seem different and have different numbers of wires coming out
