So I finally picked up an LX hatch... Long time dream. So while I've been a member here forever, I'll probably be more active from now on! The car is currently a bare shell needing some work, and will be a long term project, but I will be aiming for a car that will be competitive for track use. So weight is a consideration - but I also want it to look right, so I'll be looking at factory replacement style panels rather than pin on skins. Does anyone have weight information about how doors/guards/bonnet/hatch/bumpers compare with factory steel? How is quality and fitment on the panels from different suppliers, I note that there is a number of different companies doing these?
