The speed that your getting it done is bloody awesome.
That’s a huge job but your getting shit sorted😁👍
Maybe tell the neighbors that the sooner you get it done the sooner the noise will stop 🤪

Here's some more, this is just cleaned up and primed, no filler in there yet.

It will need a bit in some areas but a lot less than it had in it before.

Progress has been slow lately, we are almost ready to put the beaver on although I'm unsure if it's correct and how the ends go.

The beaver replacement is straight and sits well across the rails although at the ends where it meets the quarters, it sits out a fair bit.
Should we just weld the top the fold the ends in to meet the quarters?

Could the quarter panels have moved when the beaver was cut out?

The quarters have both been changed as well. it's not a big gap. I'll get some photos today as we work on getting it to fit.

It looks like a big gap to me, but at least the bumper will mostly hide any weirdness.

This is a seriously impressive effort from two people who haven't done this before.

My shell is nowhere near this bad, my dad is a panel beater by trade, and it seems like a big effort to me to work on my car, so it definitely puts things into perspective. In regard to the neighbours, tell them the less they hassle you, the faster you can work and get it finished, and then the quicker they will have less noise ha-ha!

Fully adjustable boot stay is a winner.
