G'day guys,

I purchased a bunch of parts and included with the purchase was some springs which I was told were off an LC XU-1. They look like they've never been apart at the top but the top looks different to what's in the manual and what's on my LC GTR.

Can anyone shed some light on whether this top mount is LC/LJ, why is it different? Also I can't see a stamped number on the spring like was stamped on the front springs. How can you tell if its genuine LC XU-1?

Thanks guys

Marty

This is what mine looks like and the repair manual shows.

Marty those are 1971 LC and LJ type upper insulators. You may need to remove the insulator assy to see the spring part number if there is one.
