Well I've caught that ol' graffiti artist at it again but this time instead of scribbling on my glove box, he managed to get his "moniker" on my hat and one of my Acacia Ridge Inspector Dust Coats.
AND
Of course it was the great Harry Firth, a the true gentlemen who sat there all day signing anything that was put in front of him.
I observed one fella wanting to shake his hand after having his items signed and being photographed with Harry. With just a shake of his head, Harry indicated that his hand was not in good enough condition to do that. With age of course comes arthritis.
Thanks Harry, you're a top bloke

The 2 Acacia Ridge Inspector's dust coats were given to me by a fella that worked at the Acacia Ridge Holden Assembly Plant 1965 -84.
Ron had worked on the Wiring Line and quite possibly had put the wiring loom or instrument panel into my car as it was being assembled. For the last 4 years before the plant closed in 1984, he was an Inspector.
I bought the first dust coat off him for $25 which was full length and still in its plastic wrapper. The 2nd was a used one in good condition and was 3/4 length. It was this one that Harry signed.
The 2nd one actually came from Ron's wife after he had died (Sept 05) and she had sent it down to me and it came with some other stuff that she thought Ron might like me to have.
Ron and I had struck up a bit of a friendship over the time I was corresponding with him about Acacia Ridge. A nice chap and his wife Jill a lovely lady.
