Couple days ago thought I was going to pick up the 2 modified commodore fuel tanks...not been touched dude reckons will start them this week but somehow doubt that.

I have had a new boat coming since March 2024. It still needed the motors and electronics fitted, a rear seat fitted, and some stainless steel work done when I saw it three weeks ago and the idiots at Rockingham Boating told me they were going to get straight into it and get it done.  I rocked up on Monday this week unannounced, and it was still sitting in the same spot out in the weather without any work having been done at all.  It seems that young blokes these days are only taught how to sell. None of them know anything about service. The next time I ring a business and they tell me to "send me an email" I'm going to take my laptop into their shop and hit them over their head with it.

Yeah my bad for thinking 4 week headstart to do 1 or 2 day job was enough time.

It's my rostered week off so really only time can actually do car stuff

I ran a Crane 292 years ago in a 308, and although it was a bit angry, it was still drivable around town.

With nicer heads & more compression than f280 355 in vh sle hopefully this engine will be just as drivable as do want to drive it on street & race it couple times per year.

Guessing 5k stally or bigger with 4.11 gears 255/60/25 tyres.

Would love to go trimatic with tp bellhousing but probably end up th350.

Still a long way to go.

Another week still no modified fuel tanks despite babricator dude messaging this morning...gave up on idea about 3-4pm no 2nd message to say they're ready.

Was going to have a crack at priming efi 304 motor but got sidetracked as usual did go Pirtek for fittings.
