Had a day off so made a run for it up the coast to cousin's farm to have a look at painted bay & cousin's gemini engined 4cyl torrie coupe.
While there thought fcuk it better put 304/4l60e back in so can test fit exhaust & trans tunnel clearance with tuff mounts member....took 3 goes in/out bashing tunnel then we fitted up pacemakers & put steering column back in.
It was getting late in arvo & early that morning got tree sap & wood in eye cutting/digging out massive tree roots in backyard....eye blew up like a golfball could not open eyelid....100kms away from home lol

Yeah will be nice to finally have the scheel interior in the car & not inside house anymore haha
Car is turning out little bit better than we planned despite trying hard not to go overboard on it....cousin is keen to get the gtr in for repairs.

That is vs statesman....15x7 aero tucked under a bench in garage but might try to fit 14' vk exec hubcaps on chasers.
Looks strange as 15x7 chaser with 255/60 does not look big on car untill take them off & compare to stockies lol

I saw some sensible sized Simmons for sale recently with 120mm PCD. Will see if I can find them again.
Found them, on Marketplace in Sydney. But unfortunately look like 16”. Search P86 Simmons in Sydney. I have a pair of these in 15x7 and -15x8 in 4.75” PCD that fit my HK.
Had a set of silver B45 for this years ago...looked horrible so sold them off.
Want to stay with 15's for the look & interchange wheels or parts with the other cars.
Trying to do car so that dont have to do much work to go racing or change back to rego spec

Good news is that the Bitsa Bombadore is coming home this week.
Even better news is the LC GTR will finally be getting some love by taking it's place at panelbeaters for a year or so...

Have you got a good drivers side headlight to replace the dull one?

I'll pull it apart to clean or possibly paint inside.
Think I'm more interested in fitting up interior & sorting out wiring etc than exterior cosmetics
Was using lc gtr as storage bin so now garage is a big mess again.

Yeah going to live with panelbeater for next year or so getting rust & damage repairs.
No real plans for it other than getting repaired...need to get the commodores running & registered first.

Cleaned the vk out....done a little bit of fitting up & planning build.
Also started wiring again replacing melted fuse box & sorting out wiring more.
Can't roll car out of garage to work on it properly due to heavy rain we've been having last week or two.

Torana wiring is so easy compared to that lot.
