Interesting, but huge and potentially gets in the way.

Apparently the large outer loops can be removed once the car is is locked in position.

I don't see any reason why you could not mount the hoops to the bumper bar mounts like a traditional rotisserie if they are in your way.

Bit like any Rotisserie,

 one use and sell it.

On the other hand,

the choice of Rotisserie is between a Rolls-Royce and the others.  :spoton:

Mechanic's first investment for the Garage.

Has a life time of uses, and heard that a 4 post don't need bolting down, hmm?  :3gears:

That's a very good point.  :spoton:

100mm thick slab minimum.

I have both a 2 post and a 4 post parking hoist. Both are 100mm slabs and both are bolted down. I think the trick though with a 2 post is don't buy cheap stuff with no outriggers. By a used Molnar with the big legs on them as they will just about free stand without bolting down - not that I'd try it with a car on it! The 3 tonne Molnars are still pretty cheap as used items, just get to be a bit of stuffing around if you don't have 3 phase power.

We have a 2 post and a 4 post.
Slab designed with localised thickening as per the Hoist vendor's spec.for the 2 poster.
Regarding the 4 poster, yes the specs say no need to bolt down. With no vehicle onboard, there are castor brackets that fit to it that allow you to move it around the shed.
However, one day ( with a car on the 4 poster and a car parked under it) we were pushing a seperate car around to get it on the 2 poster.
It became quiet evident that if this car ever bumped a leg on the 4 poster, it could knock out that particular leg from under the 4 poster, thus the car on the 4 poster, & the 4 poster itself would come crashing down on the car below, assume also the car on top of the 4 poster would slip off and hit the 3rd car/ people as well.
May never happen, but safe to say the 4 poster it bolted down now.

A handful of bolts would be quicker to install and be a lot cheaper than fixing a squashed car.
