Hi Brainstrust, I am fitting a standard front stabiliser bar (sway bar) to my LX. I’m not sure if I am doing it correctly. I have been looking everywhere for photos of what it should look like in situ, but cannot find any of how it should be. In the attached photo mine has been spaced to 7mm below the transmission cover plate. Any help with this would be truly appreciated.Attached File  16621493-F6F1-4494-92B8-28666551BF6E.jpeg   97.57K   7 downloads

Mine connects to the LCA from the top side. I think you need to remove it and rotate it Right to Left.

Yeah it needs to be swapped around, so that the forward facing ends contour up and over the lower control arms....

Re-install the link pins above - and it should start looking more like the below...

Here's one I found via a quick google search:

And the spacers between the bar bushes and the K frame should not be there either unless your extractors are hitting the bar

Yep as said the bar is upside down mate. If you don't have Torana V8 engine mounts (ie: if using HQ etc) the engine will

sit low enough for the extractors to not clear the bar and it will need the spacers.
