I have an Electronic Distributor I believe is from a WB with a large cap and rotor button. I am told I can put a smaller standard cap and rotor button on it. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where and what I need to be asking for?

Just a standard HT-HZ cap and XE Falcon rotor button. Then you just use standard HT-HZ leads. If you use the Goss replacement HEI coil you can even use the stock HT-HZ coil lead. Goss sell the remade distributors with the small cap and rotor button so you should be able to buy both off them:

Goss Distributor - DBC923N (sparkplugsdirect.com.au)

You can see the coil in that package but you can but it separately.

Just use the WB-VL plugs and set the gaps for that engine.

Make sure you short the pink and yellow wires at the ignition switch. Have a look on the second page of this thread. Posts are all mixed up now though so you'll have to wing it for the story.

I had to do the same with the VK 308 in the LX, I’m sure I put the empty rotor & cap boxes in the glove box so I didn’t forget what I used...which was in 2003 lol, I’m heading over to the shed again this weekend to move more gear out so I can get to the Torana. I will post part #’s up if the boxes haven’t turned to dust. Purchased the bits from Repco
