went for these

with theses spacers

Hopefully will get time to fit over the christmas break & will report back.

Cheers for all the help.

Bruce, just note that you do not use the two kidney shaped caliper mounting spacers on LC/LJ Torana. They are HK,T,G only.

will do

rotors are in,

but my speco fuel reg sprung a leak just b4 testng, bloody lucky, its on the exhaust side & could have been a disaster, boom!

Ordered a new holley one, no fittings inc, so waiting on some 3/8 npt barbs ect, will now fit on the drivers side.

Report back soon!

Bugger. I’ve got a speco one and heard about them springing a leak. Malpassi are apparently good.

Did see on the back of the speco unit 7lb max, I was feeding it with a SBC manual pump, I assume it supplied over 7lb.

speco unit was 2 yrs old

Thanks for that qualification. I'm running AC glass bowl type, though I may have changed the base over to the later blue black version. Anyway they are rated under 6psi, so good to know.

I originally ran the SUs back in the day with a STD red 173(2650) Manual fuel pump with no Reg & had no overflow issues.

Went with the SBC pump this time so i had no fuel supply issues(overflowed so need a Reg), sometimes bigger is not always better.

I never tested the amount of fuel supplied with the orig unit, it may have been fine?

My mate was running his 300 flywheel hp 202 webers off standard pump no reg, but he put roller lifters and had to go to electric pump.

There you go, I would have been fine, I wouldnt be anywhere near that, if i have any probs with this holley reg, ill revive the old pump, & one less thing to worry about.

Hi All,

Back up & running again.

Brake report.

Booster tested as per S pack Dave, all good, but note this booster is now on 52 yrs old??

Cam is crow 35803, from mem 108 lobe separation, 248 @ .05.

Front Brakes wont lock up, but pull up pretty quick, passed pink slip brake test easily.

New master, reco calipers, new brake rubber lines, new rear slaves & adjusted, all lines bled, no rusty brake fluid???

Wondering if the diaphragm has hardenened or became too stiff, am i producing enough vac with said cam?

Any thoughts appeciated.
