Just a couple of pics to show that the LH (7-74) had the Torx type of end and for the LX (2-76) they went to Hex.  There was also one thick washer behind one of them. I had never noticed before, but the thin washers are stamped 1 and the thick ones are stamped 2. It must be to allow for variation in the body assembly.

Yeah, I'd have to check but I thought it was the other way around myself (IE. Torx came later)?

Maybe there were two suppliers then? Both of my cars were unmolested survivors.

It could be an alternate supplier. Maybe a design change. Could also be an ADR thing to do with side intrusion?

Torx on my 7/76 , assume they are original , were on the car in 80s when I got it
