I’ve got a 1975 build car trailer that I’ve used to transport my hill climb car. It was a sudden purchase before the start of last season. Anyway, it’s served its purpose and I’ve now upgraded to a 2022 version.

The old girl is due to be moved on but it’s due for rego and it needs some work to make it safe and legal. The brakes had been inoperable for at least a decade when when we bought it (don’t ask how it had remained registered - it needs to have a yearly inspection) and it’s missing the drum and all internals on one side.

I need to identify what the brakes are so I can find a replacement.

It’s early Holden stud pattern and the stub axles have been welded into the end of the axle.

Can anyone identify what these are? And does anyone have any that they are happy to part with?

Cheers,

Warwick

4.25” pcd you say. Measure the inside diameter of the backing plate. EJ HR LC UC, 4cyl VB are 9” drums. HKTG are 10”. That will narrow it down.

Thanks Clay.

I’ll do some more measurements.

I thought the picture of the backing plate would be enough to identify.
