bolted the brackets on the front bumper'

found it was out of shape badly 

so are rares good or crap 

also what tyres for lc gtr

I've never bolted a bracket to a bumper and then went to put it on the car and thought, how the hell is this going to fit.

With a bit of tweaking and cursing, they go on.

all good mark 

when i bolted the irons on it crushed the bumper and cracked the chrome 

then a piece came off 

the bumper is narrow where the irons go so stretch to fit a good 10/15mm 

so find it cheaper to buy new than repair and re'chrome

Hi Albert, I've got two Rares on the LC and one on the LJ. They're good stuff, just paint the back of them with KBS or POR 15 to stop then rusting from the inside out.

 

They go on -  but bolt them up really loose then slowly and evenly tighten moving from one to the other to gradually bring it into position.
