Perhaps, we should make the next cruise in Melbourne, end at Hurstbridge, the place where 'The King' grew up and lived, and thank him for what he has done for motorsport and the 'Torana' following.

Just a thought? as I'm shattered

Count me in.
Perhaps the VTC, ESC, Monaro club etc and other clubs or groups can get involved in this.

Sincerely,
Rick.

Yes, I think we can involve alot of clubs and see if the township of Hurstbridge will allow us to get together with everyone and 'remember' Peter Brock, I think we have different locations for everyone to meet to cater for people in the Nth/West/South and East of Melbourne and make our way to Hurstbridge. And pay our respect to the Legend." Yes, you maybe thinking of Brocky's day out? I'm pretty sure that's where they had it last year.

I haven't heard anything about Brocky's Big Day Out this year, it was a year and five days ago from today last time (in conjunction with the Hurstbridge Festival)

a bit about last year's one. But I think we really need a cruise in his honour. You name a date and I'll advertise it. The VTC have a Drive-In night tonight and we'll have to talk about organizing something.

We (VTC) have a club meeting on Tuesday night and it will be discussed then. But something definatly has to be done, and this sounds like a good idea.

Pete, I'm planning to come to the meeting Tuesday night to discuss this cruise, I would like to know if people would prefer a seperate cruise to Hurstbridge or make it as part of the Peter Brock Foundation Big Day out, what do people suggest?

I think it would be nice to have our own cruise...smaller in numbers (as the Big Day Out is chockers!!!), I'd like to stop at 'Hurstbridge Motors' (where Brockie worked with his old man), there's parking behind the site. We could make it our ultimate destination if it suits.

We could all still go to the Big Day Out, it's not for a couple of months...

Yeb Knoath, I think it would be better too, soundsgoing to the garage and parking behind there too. At this stage I think the Sunday after the Grand Final,or is that Bathurst? If so the one after maybe?
