Unfortuately can't make it tonight to the Torana Club meeting, Peter can you let us know what is mentioned there.
As put forwarded earlier, I think we go Sunday October 15th, this should give plenty of notice for everyone and to have there Torries sparkle. I also suggest we start at different areas for everyone to converge on Hurstbridge have a BBQ and say some words to reflect The Legend.

Yes, yes, yes!!!
15th October

What time and where?????

Ok Bathurst is the 5-8th October,so I'm putting forward Sunday 15th October, and meeting at Hurstbridge where the Festival would be held? How's that?

However, let's not meet at the grounds where Brocky's Big Day Out is held....let's cruise to that location! :spoton:

So where do we propose to leave from?

How about Doncaster Shopping Town Hotel carpark? It's a bit of a drive for the Easterners, but what's the alternative?

I'm definately in, so I'm happy to go where we need to.
Want to make this a great cruise, so let's spread the word and get a good turn out.
We've got 3 weeks to do it.

Sounds good Dick, Us easterners could meet at the Knox Club where the VTC's cruise's normally start, make our way to Donnie, and head up to Hurstbridge as a group. I'm pencilling in next Sunday for the VTC cruise (hopefully!) And hopefully spread the word too.
Perhaps meet at Donnie round 11am, and for easterners at Knox @ 9:30, chance to catch up and then leave and meet at Donnie for 11, then wait a while and head to Hurstbridge for a BBQ?

Ucmyuc, where abouts are you? Maybe I could give you a hand in putting it back together, so you can make it. I'm in Lysterfield.

Just a bump post to remind Melbournites about this cruise.
A BBQ has been mentioned.... how many people are up for this?
Could be as simple as some snags in bread or steaks, chops and salads.
What's the preferance?

I dont have a portable BBQ anymore, so I can't help out there, but I can cruise out there after work one arvo and see if there's any coin op ones.
Time to start organising as it's weekend after this one!

I would like to get an idea of who is planning to come on this cruise,so if you can add yourself that would be great!

If you're looking for a portable BBQ, why don't you see if you can borrow either the VTC or the ESC trailers?

Talk to Peter UC; he may still have the trailer from Sunday, but someone else may have grabbed it to store at their house since; I'm not quite sure. I don't think there are any permanent BBQs there.

And yes, considering Donnie is just 5mins drive up the road, I'll probably be there provided I don't end up filling that day with another activity.

Not sure if I'll be able to make this cruise yet or not. One Torana is still in a thousand pieces waiting for free time to finish the Supra conversion. The other Torana is running like crap and I'm struggling driving it everyday, driving me insane. So will let you know closer to the date if we're likely to make it or not.

Cheers.

Just wondering what people may like to do, do we cruise straight from Donnie to Hurstbridge or do you want to do a drive from Donnie along some roads and end up at Hurstbridge?
