God, brain is all over the place, but there is a car display tomorrow for all ACT Car Clubs. We will lead a small tribute (coppers willing at such short notice) with a 40km/h lights ablaze cruise from the City to Parliament House. All other interested Clubs/person at the display will be welcome, but will be lead by Torana's followed by Holdens then others.

NFI how big/small it will be.

What a day!!!!

I'm 14 and I thought I would Die before Peter (God rest his soul) A man like him should be invicible.
R.I.P

He was and still is INVINCABLE.

Peter Brock will never die, we the fans and followers will keep his LEGEND alive forever..

Iv been in bed with a badly injurd foot for close to 2 months but today after i heard the shattering news i got on my cruches and limped out to the garage and just stared at my Hatchback for about an hour with my heart racing faster then Brockys 308 down conrod.... The affect this LEGEND has had on my and my mates lifes is unreal..

NEVER BE FORGOTEN FOR NOT MANY MEN ARE LIVING LEGENDS LIKE BROCKY WAS..

I was saying to my wife last night that I feel I would like to go to the funeral if it is a public one, or memorial service or something to pay my last respects.
I will be in for a NSW event, or trek to Melbourne if that's a goer.

I'm sure all cars will be welcome mate.. It's not about the car.. it's about remebering a legend and showing your respect to a great race driver.

I'll defitniely be there no matter what car/time/date.

Perhaps Melbourne City Council needs to be contacted to find out what's going on?
Details of the funeral will be announced within the next 3-4 days, you'd think.
Many people from overseas to attend too I'd guess....
Let's just keep our eyes and ears open for news and post it here when you hear anything.

Still shocked.

Did our Canberra Cruise Tribute to PB. It was huge. Was joined by the FE-FX Club, Streetrydes, and other ACT Council of Motor Clubs affiliated car and motorcycle clubs. It was huge, glad we did it. Police were most cooperative, as were other motorists.

FE FX Car Club insisted on a second lap and return.

Channel 9 interviewed us in the morning, and Channel 10 grabs some pics for the Sydney news after the event.

Thats great to hear pat.
There has been a great response from the ford followers for a man who was predominantly a holden man. Almost everything i've read regarding Brockie has been positive and constructive and that includes ALL ive read from ford people.

It really goes to show the type of person that PB was in that he reached out to so many people, not only the holden fans. It's really great to see the way that people from all walks of life respect the man for his achievements.

Cheers

Remember he drove just about everything at one stage or another... It wasn't all Holdens.

Fair dinkum? Must say, it turned out being a much larger event than what I had in mind. The Channel 10 guys saw us cruising around so rang us.
